A Rainy Saturday Morning

:)
With time passing seemingly faster than ever, a portion of our ILC cohort met to discuss logistics and Don's media expertise.  By far the most exciting part of the day was meeting 3/8 of my Brown II cohort, all of whom I have yet to meet.  I was able to spend more time with Sewellyn, John, and Kat (also Brown chaperones) and coordinate some valuable planning time.

Talking with the students and parents, I was able to realize that my so called east coast 'expertise' might be a little out-dated.  Spending many summer nights in an east coast dorm room, I began to experience sympathy pains of sort for these girls.  Above all, though, I would take the experience of a summer in the northeast over any place in the world.  As my cohort begins their varying stages of gearing up for their adventure, I can't help but anticipate them involved in the summer of their lives so far.  Cheers to a healthy end of the school year and smooth transition to summer!

  1. Jackie,

Even though we pass along a lot of information at these tutorials, I believe the greatest value to these is the opportunity to meet and bond with fellow ILCers and fellow cohort members. You're going to spend a lot of time with these young ladies and being familiar with each other can make the trip so much more enjoyable.
